Braking resistors are used to slow motors by absorbing the energy they produce. They come in a number of different designs, from wirewound resistors through to grid resistors and compact resistive elements. Harmonic filter resistors absorb harmonics to reduce distortions in power systems. 

They are made up of multiple grid resistors which are combined together and housed in one or more enclosures.

We developed our mobile load banks to meet the growing demand for portable load banks which offer a greater degree of flexibility than the models which were already on the market.    Our experts came up with a design for a series of handy transportable load banks which are perfect for service technicians responding to a call. JOVYLOAD HANDY load resistors are available from 8 kW up to 30 kW and can be used to test voltages up to 400 V AC/DC. These units can also be supplied along with a 12 V / 12 A tap on request. These load banks are light, easy to use and easy to transport, making them an essential piece of kit for any service technician who performs load tests on a regular basis.
